Character Counts! Week will be celebrated from Monday, October 16th through Friday, October 20th.  Students can wear the color representing each day to honor the tenets of the week.

  • Monday, October 16th:
    Citizenship - wear purple
  • Tuesday, October 17th:
    Responsibility - wear green
  • Wednesday, October 18th:
    Respect - wear gold
  • Thursday, October 19th:
    Honesty - wear blue
  • Friday, October 20th:
    Caring - wear red

In art class second graders at Salford Hills Elementary learned about how architects design buildings all around the world.  Students manipulated paper to create 3-dimensional forms like: cylinders, cubes, rectangular prisms and triangular prisms.  They used these forms to build their own structures and added doors and windows.  They also became landscape architects and designed the paths,  trees, water features, and other plantings around their buildings...
