Second Grade Architects

Students at Storywalk

In art class second graders at Salford Hills Elementary learned about how architects design buildings all around the world.  Students manipulated paper to create 3-dimensional forms like: cylinders, cubes, rectangular prisms and triangular prisms.  They used these forms to build their own structures and added doors and windows.  They also became landscape architects and designed the paths,  trees, water features, and other plantings around their buildings
